Terms & Conditions

You agree to these terms when submitting a reservation/purchase of morningstar mice.

I have a guarantee of 6 months after collecting the mice if there is a death due to congenital abnormalities. The guarantee regarding 1 free replacement mouse within the same or a lower price range in consultation. This will presume within the period of 1 month after notification of death, provided that the mousery has animals available, otherwise under consultation.

Upon collection, it is the customer’s responsibility to assess the animals for gender/health/physical condition and whether this has been approved. In the event of doubt or no agreement, the sales agreement will be dissolved. After the animals have been handed over, the guarantee can only be claimed if there is (proven) a defect from the mousery/genetic predisposition.

I work with pedigrees on request.

If there is a case of rehoming mousery mice I require a notice of this, mousery mice can always be returned. If an animal with pedigree / breeding suitability moves on, I require contact with the new owner. (this is due to keeping track of my lines) Animals that move without a pedigree are NOT suitable for breeding, so they may NOT be bred with them even after resale.

You agree with the requirements set by the mousery regarding husbandry, nutrition & care.

If the general conditions are not met, the mousery is entitled to refuse / spare you further purchase and advice / support.

Reservation conditions

You must schedule a pick-up appointment within 7 days of booking. (appointment must therefore take place within 7 days after reservation)

If there is no agreed pick-up date within 7 days, the reservation will be canceled automatically (unless agreed otherwise).

If you have to cancel the appointment for a valid reason (illness, etc.), it is possible to make a new appointment ONCE within the period of 7 days from notification. If you do not show up without notice, the entire reservation & purchase guarantee will expire. The mousery also reserves the right to refuse sales to you as a customer in the future.

Reservations for Exoknaag editions will only take place from now on (14/7/23) with a 50% deposit of the full adoption fee. This amount is NOT eligible for a refund if the adoption is cancelled.

DISCLAIMER RED/BRINDLE (BASED) MICE

Red and brindle mice are known to be highly prone to obesity/diabetes, which also means that they can build up a lot of weight fairly quickly on a normal average protein-rich diet. This is genetically engineered and therefore almost impossible to do anything about, advice is to put the animals on a vegetarian diet from 3 months onwards or to give them a feed with lower animal proteins and, in moderation, snacks that contain animal proteins and sugars, as its been proven in the practice to reduce rapid growth.
