What do i breed?

I breed purposefully to improve the fancy mouse, using a wide and varying variety of colors and coats. This means that I do not have animals for sale in stock as standard, or that I can deliver within a short period of time.

 📈 How do you select your breeding animals?

With me health is #1, my females and males are not used for breeding before an absolute minimum of 3 months and a minimum of 30 grams. I prefer 40 grams and 4 to 5 months for a first mating.

 Second to me is character. Character to humans and animals. My selection is very strict on behavior towards me, I expect my animals to be suitable for handling without the animal showing undesirable behavior (varying from wanting to run away, screeching, snapping, etc.).

 Behavior towards other mice is also a very important aspect for me. I expect my animals to be able to communicate and sort their rank within a 24-hour clock without human intervention. Dominance of females that continue to dominate despite a submissive attitude of the other mice is immediately labeled as not suitable for breeding.

 Thirdly, I have “type” within my criteria. The body type, proportion and weight of the animal must meet a few basic requirements for me. Some of these are, for example, the overall length x width ratio of the animal, the proportion of the head and the size of the ears.
